Question 1

What is Gain.fm?

Accepted Answer

Gain.fm is a landing page for musicians, built and run by a marketing agency. Your Instagram or Facebook ad sends the fan to your Gain.fm page, they tap once, and Spotify opens with the song already playing. The agency runs the ads for you.

Question 2

How is Gain.fm different from a smart link like Feature.fm, Linkfire or Laylo?

Accepted Answer

A smart link shows your fan four or more streaming services and asks them to choose. Gain.fm shows one, Spotify, so fewer people drop off. It also tracks in the browser and from the server on your own Meta pixel, so the ads learn who actually listens instead of who taps links, and the fan data stays yours.

Question 3

Does Gain.fm run the Instagram ads too?

Accepted Answer

That is your choice. You can take the landing pages on their own and point your own Instagram and Meta ads at them, or you can have the agency build and run the campaigns for you. Gain.fm is built by a marketing agency, so both paths use the same pages and the same tracking.

Question 4

How much does Gain.fm cost?

Accepted Answer

Gain.fm is currently invite only. Onboarding is capped and new spots open in waves, so the site takes waitlist signups instead of payments. Join the waitlist at gain.fm and you get an email the day a spot opens. Having the agency run the ads for you is quoted separately.

Question 5

Can Gain.fm sell tour tickets?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Tour campaigns get their own ad and page per city, so the cost per person reaching the ticket page can be tracked market by market.
